2023 Rare Language Tour Guide Evaluation and Training (11-6)
The Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications encourages new immigrants, overseas compatriot students, and foreign students with at least a high school or vocational high school education to participate in the Foreign Language Tour Guide Evaluation. This evaluation is designed to assist students in obtaining their Tour Guide License and contributing to the tour guide labor market. This initiative addresses the current imbalance in the supply and demand of tour guides and represents a significant step towards building a robust workforce for Taiwan's tourism industry. It aims to enhance the quality and excellence of tour guides, promoting sustainable tourism development. The program specifically welcomes new immigrants from Southeast Asia residing in Taiwan, overseas compatriot students, and foreign students proficient in languages other than English and Japanese.
