Promoting "Family Listening Day" – The Power of Listening: Practicing the Art of Parent-Child Communication. Hosted by the Taipei City Center for Family Education, this workshop titled "The Power of Listening – Practicing the Wisdom of Parent-Child Communication" introduces the concept of children's expression and inner world through the lens of Adlerian psychology. Participants will also be guided through card based activities to help parents develop quality listening and meaningful conversations with their children, while uncovering common pitfalls in communication. Date: Saturday, August 16, 2025 Time: 09:00 – 12:00 Venue: 2nd Meeting Room, 5th Floor, Tatung Building, The Senior Agriculture Department (No. 15, Lane 236, Section 5, Zhongxiao East Road, Xinyi District, Taipei City) Intended Participants: Parents of upper elementary, junior high, or senior high school students. Parent-child pairs are encouraged to attend. The workshop is also open to members of the public with an interest in this topic.
