Registration Period Extended Taipei City Vocational Development Institute, and Taipei City Department of Civil Affairs to co-host New Immigrant Childcare Provider and Postpartum Care Provider Training between Jul. 12 and Oct. 29(6-1)

Adjusting to the COVID-19 outbreak in Taiwan, the class registration period has been extended to June 30. The announcement date of accepted students has been extended to July 2!
The class will provide infant care and postpartum care training, and after the training is completed, assistance will be provided to the students to obtain care provider certificates. We welcome all new immigrants that are interested to apply for the class.
Class Time: Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 09:10 to 16:10 between Jul. 12 and Aug. 30, and on Sep. 17 and 29, and between Oct. 1 and Oct. 29.
Venue: Taipei City Vocational Development Institute (address: No. 301, Shidong Rd., Shilin Dist., Taipei City)
Eligible Applicants: New immigrants that are registered Taipei residents (or the registered address on the ARC is in Taipei), and are at least 20 years old. Applicants that have basic Chinese skill have priority. The institute has the right to adjust participant eligibilities and registration prerequisites.

Admission Announcement: July 2, 2021 (Friday)
1. Students should apply online, and have an ID headshot and the National ID Card or the ARC on person on the first day of the class. If more than 25 applicants applied for the class then admission will be determined by drawing lots.
2. After the class is completed, the class will help students to participate in taking the childcare provider certificate exam. The class plans to help students apply for the 2021 3rd Exam (around November). Students are responsible for the expenses to take the exam.
3. The class does not provide lunch during training.
