Sign up now for the New Immigrant Second-Generation Girls Empowerment Workshop: “My Girlhood Era - Discovering Myself (5-10)
Eden Social Welfare Foundation is organizing the “My Girlhood Era - Discovering Myself” for second-generation adolescent girls from new immigrant families currently enrolled in the second year of junior high school through the second year of senior high school or vocational high school in Taiwan. Led by experienced professionals, the workshop aims to support students in exploring self-identity, understanding emotions, and reflecting on personal values and future aspirations. As teenagers navigate adolescence, they may experience confusion related to friendships, appearance, self-identity, and romantic relationships. This workshop seeks to help participants reduce social and appearance anxiety, strengthen awareness of gender equality, develop healthy interpersonal and gender relationships, and learn important self-protection skills. Program Dates: July 8–10, 2026 (3-day program), 09:30–16:30 Venue: Multifunction Activity Room, New Taipei City Women’s Service Center (3F., No. 101, Quyun Rd., Banqiao Dist., New Taipei City) For registration inquiries, please contact Social Worker Lei at the New Immigrant Service Center .
