The 60th Military Literary and Arts Golden Statue Awards marks its 60th anniversary under the theme “Art Refined into Gold, A Legacy of Honor.” The event continues to promote literary and artistic development within the armed forces. Submissions are open until July 31, 2026. Participation is warmly encouraged.

I. Themes

1. Military & Public Categories (Open theme selected by creators)

(1) “Never Absent at Critical Moments”

From the perspective of service members or individuals, works should portray the armed forces’ commitment in combat readiness, training exercises, disaster response, and daily duties—demonstrating professionalism, responsibility, and quiet dedication.

(2) “Preparedness Ensures Safety”

Explore how military and civilians, in the face of diverse threats, build national resilience through daily actions and collective efforts—highlighting unity and shared responsibility in safeguarding the nation.

2. International Category: “TEAM TAIWAN – Standing with Taiwan”

Freedom in the Republic of China is not only a cherished value, but also a way of life that continues to be upheld and practiced. Through artistic creations, international participants are invited to express their appreciation for freedom, their commitment to safeguarding it, and the spirit of standing together in support of Taiwan.

II. Eligibility

1. Military Category

(1) Active-duty officers, NCOs, soldiers, and students of military academies

(2) Civilian employees of Ministry of National Defense units

(3) Military instructors affiliated with the Ministry of Education

2. Public Category

Citizens of the Republic of China (including military dependents and reservists), as well as students from senior high schools and above in Taiwan

3. International Category

Individuals aged 16 and above, including overseas nationals of the ROC, members of the overseas Chinese community, and international friends who identify with and support Taiwan
