Be Careful—It’s Against the Law! Smoke-Free Zones 1.E-cigarettes are illegal and addictive. They are not a legitimate way to quit smoking. Under the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, selling or using e-cigarettes is punishable by law, with users facing fines of up to NT$10,000. 2.Smoking is strictly prohibited in smoke-free parks, school campuses, and designated smoke-free bus shelters.
