To continue providing care and support to Hong Kong and Macao residents livinginTaiwan, the Mainland Affairs Council, the Hong Kong-Taiwan Economic andCultural Cooperation and Promotion Council, Department of Investment Review, Ministry of Economic Affairsand, and the Taipei City Government are jointlyorganizing the Symposium on Residence and Settlement Support for Hong KongandMacao Residents in Taiwan. This informative session will focus on practical topics such as residence andpermanent settlement procedures, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, and investment-related matters. Representatives from relevant government agencies will provide clear explanations and on-site guidance to help participants better understand policies and resources available in Taiwan. Speakers will include officials from the National Immigration Agency, the WorkforceDevelopment Agency, and the Department of Investment Review, along withrepresentatives of the Taipei City Government. The program will also highlight support services for new immigrants in Taipei and feature personal stories sharedbyHong Kong and Macao residents about their journeys in Taiwan.
