To help new immigrants develop personal interests, acquire practical skills, enrich their lives, and enhance their livelihood capabilities, the Wanhua District Office of Taipei City will offer a New Immigrant Pastry and Baking Class from June 3 to June 26, 2025 (every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, at the Cooking Classroom of Taipei Wanhua Community College (No. 46, Nanning Road, Wanhua District, Taipei City).

In this class, you'll learn to make tasty treats like nougat crackers, dorayaki, mochi donuts, and French lemon tarts.

Registration opens on May 19, 2025, and will remain open until all spots are filled.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be registered residents of Taipei City, have completed marriage registration, and entered Taiwan for family reunion, family-based residency, or settlement. Priority will be given to new immigrants who have arrived in Taiwan within the past three years or who have not previously attended similar courses. If spots remain, new immigrants from other cities/counties may also apply.
