2017 Taipei City New Immigrant Participatory Budgeting Proposal Session-First Phase

Taipei City Department of Civil Affairs hosted a new-immigrant participatory budgeting proposal session at Wanhua New Immigrants' Hall on Sep. 15, 2017. During the session, five programs proposed during the June 15th proposal meeting (New-Immigrant Services in Communities, Dance for A Wonderful Life, I Want Suitable Work, New-Immigrant Parent-Child Cultural and Recreational Activities, and Diverse Courses) were discussed between new immigrant proposers and representatives from the Department of Civil Affairs, the Department of Social Welfare, and the Department of Labor. Taipei City Citizen Participatory Committee member Hung Te-jen and National Taipei University professor Hu Lung-teng were also invited to participate.
The Citizen's Panel will review the proposals in the second phase.
