We are the A Cappella Club of Zhongshan Girls’ High School, a group passionate about music! Italian “A cappella” is a form of vocal music performed without instrumental accompaniment. Different voice parts harmonize to create a rich texture of sound, making the human voice the most captivating instrument of all. Our club mainly covers Mandarin and English pop songs, using only our voices to deliver layered harmonies and beautiful melodies. If you’re into singing, harmonizing, and challenging yourself, come join us! We’re the only club at our school that focuses entirely on a cappella.

Our club offers a rich and diverse learning experience. During our weekly Thursday sessions, members receive training in vocal techniques, rhythm exercises, and teamwork skills. Through sectional practices, each member is guided to find the vocal part that best suits their voice. Under the guidance of our experienced instructor, we

progress step by step — from basic vocal training to full a cappella performances — gradually building up our musical skills. We also love connecting with other music clubs! We've co-hosted events like the Seven-School Welcome Party and Christmas celebrations. Through these collaborations, we grow as musicians, expand our horizons, and share in the joy that music brings.

At the end of each semester, our A Cappella Club hosts a large-scale showcase, giving every member the opportunity to perform on stage and share the progress we’ve made through hard work and dedication. We believe that music is not just about technique, but also about emotional expression. That’s why we place great emphasis on the power of performance — aiming to create memorable musical experiences that truly connect with our audience.

Even without a musical background, anyone interested in vocal harmony can find their place here. We’re more than just a club — we’re a close-knit family where everyone supports each other, learns together, and builds meaningful friendships.

In this club, you’ll not only learn how to sing better, but also build teamwork, focus, and confidence when performing. Each practice is a step toward self-improvement, and each performance is a celebration of our dedication and growth.
