After 15 days of strict nationwide prevention measures, ASF has been cleared. The Ministry of Agriculture will continue disease prevention efforts to restore Taiwan’s ASF-free status.

As ASF remains severe worldwide and the global situation shows no signs of easing, the ASF Response Center urges the public to comply with Taiwan’s quarantine and inspection regulations. When shopping online or traveling abroad, please carefully review product ingredients and do not purchase or bring in items containing meat or of unknown origin.

Citizens are also reminded to inform friends and family overseas not to mail or send pork products—such as mooncakes with pork filling or pork-floss egg rolls—to Taiwan, as doing so violates quarantine laws and may result in penalties. Together, we can protect Taiwan’s food safety and the sustainable development of its agriculture.

Taipei City Expands Free Influenza and COVID-19 Vaccination Raffle Program!
