In June 2023, Taipei City was honored with the prestigious Crescent Rating, receiving the title of "Most Promising Muslim-friendly City Destination of The Year (non-OIC)," a first for the city. Currently, Taipei boasts over 60 Muslim-friendly accommodations and dining establishments, along with more than 30 attractions and public places equipped with prayer rooms or bidet showers.
