1. Taiwan’s current education system offers a 6-year elementary school program for children between the ages of 6 and 12. Those who are over the age for regular elementary schooling can enroll in supplementary elementary schools. These schools do not have restrictions based on district, and students who complete a 3-year course and pass the required evaluations will be awarded a supplementary elementary school diploma, which holds the same validity as a regular elementary school diploma.
