The Datong District Office, located in the Yongle Fabric Market, led a group of new immigrants who have moved to the greater Taipei area from afar to explore the local culture, history, and industries through handicrafts. The handicraft class helped the new immigrants foster an emotional connection to the land. This exhibition showcases patchwork projects and highlights from the Patchwork Handcraft Class taught by Ms. Hsieh Pi-yen, featuring 29 new immigrant students.
