This year's New Immigrants Parent-Child Summer Camp hosted by the Songshan District Office was a delightful mix of joy, learning, and inspiration. Families from different cultural backgrounds came together to participate in a range of engaging activities. These experiences not only deepened the connections between parents and children but also helped every child flourish in a rich, multicultural setting.
The two-day summer camp featured:
"Handmade Cyanotype Shirts": Creating unique, nature-inspired art using plants and the natural beauty of cyanotype shirts.
"Creative Zentangle Art": Allowing children to explore their creativity through hands-
on art-making.
"Parent-Child Team Activities": Building parent-child connections through playful and relaxing exercises.
"Empathy Through Picture Books": Sharing picture book stories to enhance mutual understanding and respect.
"Cool Hat Decoration": Encouraging both kids and adults to express their creativity by designing their own personalized hats.
We extend our gratitude to all participating new resident families. Together, we have witnessed the growth of our children and the enriching blend of diverse cultures.
