The Viking Festival is held in the Viking Village in Hafnarfjörður, just south of Reykjavík. During the festival, the town features Viking-era food and crafts, with locals dressed in Viking costumes. They play period music and display vintage "treasures," performing mock battles to showcase Viking customs and traditions. Visitors can immerse themselves in Viking culture, interact with locals, and participate in games and performances on Viking ships, making it a great opportunity to experience local traditions.
