What should a person do if they receive a violation notice for an on-site infraction but have not received the penalty notice, or if the penalty notice was returned by the post office without being picked up?

In general, for on-site violation cases, after the issuing unit has verified and organized the relevant information, the violation notice is then sent to the adjudicating unit for processing. Once the penalty case has been filed and the penalty notice is printed, it is mailed in bulk via registered mail by the post office. If the mailing is returned or not legally delivered, the penalty notice will be resent to the registered address.

If an individual has not received the penalty notice within 2 to 5 months, they may contact the unit directly for inquiries at (phone: 02-25923600 ext. 277).
