What steps should I take if I encounter a problem with the YouBike system, docking station, or bike? Am I responsible for any damages?

If you notice any issues with the YouBike station, such as system malfunctions, docking station problems, or bike defects, please follow the reporting process by calling the Citizen Hotline at 1999 and selecting extension 5855, or by calling 02-89788822 (regular rates apply). You can also report issues through the "Report Maintenance" feature on the YouBike 2.0 app. The company will respond promptly.

To ensure your safety while riding, please check the condition of the bike before renting. Make sure the bike height can be adjusted, the handlebars are straight, the tire pressure is correct, and both the front and rear brakes are functioning. If you discover any problems with the bike, please return it to the same rental station within 5 minutes to avoid any charges. After a successful return, you won’t be subject to the 15-minute waiting period for re-rental and can rent another bike immediately. Additionally, you can help staff by turning the seat backward, making it easier for them to retrieve the bike for servicing.

Regarding maintenance costs, any wear and tear not resulting from improper use will be the responsibility of the operating company, and users will not be required to compensate for such damages.
