Who can I report to regarding environmental pollution caused by keeping animals (such as dogs, cats, etc.)?

1.In the case of environmental pollution caused by pet ownership in a community

building with a management committee, the matter should be reported to the

committee first. The committee will intervene to address the issue with the pet owners

or handle it according to the building's regulations. If the committee's intervention is

ineffective, further action can be taken by reporting the issue to the Taipei City

Construction Management Office.

2.Failure to clean up after dogs while walking them, resulting in pollution of public

areas such as roads, can be reported to the 1999 hotline or the Environmental

Protection Department. Offenders may face fines ranging from NT$1,200 to NT$6,000.
