Why is there a 5-minute wait before renting another YouBike at the same station after returning one?
Currently, the policy in the city’s public bike rental system that prohibits renting another bike from the same station within 5 minutes of returning one is intended to prevent misuse of the 30-minute free ride benefit. This rule also aims to ensure that the majority of users have fair access to public bikes, promoting them as a shared and courteous mode of public transportation.
