The "National Disaster Prevention Day" event was organized by the Fire Department, inviting relevant units to set up booths to promote disaster prevention awareness to the public. This year, the Taipei New Immigrants’ Hall also set up a booth at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall to promote its services. Teachers from Indonesia, Myanmar, Cambodia, and the Philippines wore traditional clothing from their home countries and taught the public disaster prevention phrases like "Drop, Cover, and Hold On" in different languages.
