The origins of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival trace back to 1993 when the rock band Pearl Jam, dissatisfied with the extra service fees charged by the ticketing company, decided to move their concert venue to the Empire Polo Club in Indio. This decision led to the first Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival being held in 1999. Since then, it has become an annual must-attend event for music and arts enthusiasts from the US and international communities. Due to its desert location, where significant temperature differences between day and night occur, attendees are advised to prepare warm clothing!
