What are the social assistance subsidy projects for new residents before registering?

1. Life support:

1. Low-income household Category 0: 19,013 yuan per month (for a household with more than 3 people, the applicant will receive a monthly subsidy of 14,270 yuan).

2. Low-income household Category 1: 14,270 yuan per month.

2. Medical subsidies:

1. Low-income households: Those who seek medical treatment at National Health Insurance-contracted medical institutions with health insurance status will be fully subsidized after deducting non-subsidized items from the medical expenses borne by them when participating in the National Health Insurance.

2. Low- and middle-income households: For those who seek medical treatment at National Health Insurance designated medical institutions with health insurance status, after deducting 20,000 yuan in out-of-pocket expenses and non-subsidized items, 80% of the remaining balance will be subsidized. The annual subsidy is limited to 300,000 yuan per person.

3. Items not subsidized: prostheses, prosthetic eyes, dentures, glasses, dental implants, plastic surgery, patient transportation, designated doctors, special nurses, designated drug materials, registration fees, disease prevention, and surgeries not performed due to disease prevention, Birth control and sterilization, nursing fees during hospitalization, designated ward fees and other items not directly related to medical treatment.

4. Ward fee subsidy standard: If the patient must be admitted to a surplus ward for treatment during hospitalization because the health insurance ward of the medical institution is full, the ward fee subsidy for each hospitalization will be: the subsidy will be verified within 15 days of hospitalization, but the upper limit of the subsidy amount is 1,600 yuan per day ; From the 16th to the 45th day, the daily subsidy limit is 800 yuan; after the 46th day, no subsidy will be provided. The annual ward fee subsidy is limited to 150,000 yuan per person.

5. Matters not covered shall be handled in accordance with the Social Assistance Law, the Implementation Rules of the Social Assistance Law, and Taipei City’s regulations on living assistance for low-income households and investigation and review of low-income households and low- and middle-income households.

3. Emergency rescue:

1. Those who meet one of the following conditions:

(1) The people living in the household suffer accidental injuries or become seriously ill, causing their lives to fall into difficulty.

(2) Those who are responsible for the main livelihood of the family are unemployed, missing, must be drafted into the camp for military service or alternative service, imprisoned to serve a sentence, detained for a crime, detained in accordance with the law, or for other reasons, are unable to work and are in trouble.

(3) The property or deposit account cannot be used in time due to enforcement, freezing or other reasons, causing life to be in trouble.

(4) You have applied for welfare projects or insurance benefits, but your life is in trouble before they are approved.

(5) Others who have encountered major changes and have fallen into difficulty in life have been found to be in need of assistance after inspection and evaluation by this Bureau or a unit entrusted by this Bureau.

2. Those who can apply for emergency relief in accordance with paragraphs 2 to 5 of Article 21 of the Social Assistance Law shall have priority in applying for emergency relief funds in the city in the name of each household. Those who have already received subsidies from the same household will not be given duplicate subsidies. And the application is limited to once every 2 months.

3. For each of the listed reasons, only one of them can be selected for each application.
