1. To apply for women's shelters, single mothers must either be registered Taipei City residents or new immigrants married to a registered Taipei City resident. They must be facing situations such as divorce, widowhood, having a husband serving a prison sentence or being missing, experiencing an unwed pregnancy, or undergoing other significant family changes. Additionally, they must independently care for their unmarried children under 18 years old and meet the following conditions:
A. The total monthly income of the applicant and her children, when averaged per person, do not exceed NT$25,844 (according to the 2023 standard).
B. The total movable assets of the applicant and her children, when averaged per person, do not exceed NT$573,960 (according to the 2023 standard).
C. The total real estate of the household does not exceed NT$6.5 million.
D. Neither the applicant nor her children own a house.
E. The applicant can take care of her family's daily life.
F. Underage applicants must have the consent of their legal guardian to apply.
2. Those interested in applying for shelters should attach the required documents to the application form. After an assessment visit confirms the applicant’s eligibility, the applicant can arrange to move in within 30 days from the day after receiving the residency agreement letter.
