On March 6, 2024, the JCAP Migrants and Refugees Network visited the Shilin New Immigrants’ Hall to understand its recent efforts in promoting new immigrant cultures. During the visit, instructors of Indonesian and Filipino languages shared insights into their native cultures and their experiences living in Taiwan. The event featured a rich multicultural exchange through discussions on traditional clothing, cuisine, and family cultures of new immigrants.
