The 2023 Taipei Water Lantern Festival will sparkle and shine on November 19 (Sunday) at 15:00 at the Chengmei Left Bank Riverside Park, near the Rainbow Bridge. Join us to release water lanterns and make your wishes come true! 

Since 2017, Taipei City has integrated important festivals from Southeast Asia into the Taipei Water Lantern Festival. This year marks the 7th edition of the festival, an event eagerly anticipated by new immigrants, migrant workers, international students, expatriates, and Taipei City residents alike. Through this festival, we connect with one another, experience diverse cultures, and let our wishes for the coming year float toward a brand-new future.

Event Details:

Date: November 19, 2023 (Sunday) from 15:00 to 18:00

Location: Chengmei Left Bank Riverside Park, by the Rainbow Bridge, and Xikou Rainbow Wharf

Transportation Information:

MRT: Take Exit 5 of Songshan Station, walk through the alley beside Songshan Ciyou Temple, turn left onto Songhe Street, and walk about 100 meters to enter through Keelung River No. 4 Evacuation Gate.

Taipei City Bus: Take bus numbers 205, 286, 306, 311, or 605 to Songshan Station. Head towards Raohe Night Market, walk through the alley beside Songshan Ciyou Temple, turn left onto Songhe Street, and walk about 100 meters to enter through Keelung River No. 4 Evacuation Gate.
