Highlights of the 2024 Migrants Day: Writing a New Chapter of Cultural Diversity! (12-5)
“The 2024 International Migrants Day - Home Grown from the Heart, Writing a New Chapter of Culture”, the celebration successfully concluded on December 8. Hosted by the National Immigration Agency and Taipei City Government, the event delighted attendees with international delicacies, fun cultural activities, and a craft market at Warehouse No. 5, bringing people closer to the richness of global cultures. For the first time, the celebration also incorporated Taipei’s vibrant Mask Carnival, with over 300 new immigrants joining the parade in colorful, creative masks alongside the mayor. Highlights included dazzling performances by Las Bellas, DanceWorks tap dance company, and Manjago Africa, creating a joyous occasion to celebrate International Migrants Day and foster cultural understanding!
