Occurrence place of rabies: Yuchich and Lugu Township of Nantou County, Gukeng Township of Yunlin County, Dunghe Township of Taidung County and other mountainous townships. Do not touch the wildlife. If you’re scratched and bited, please immediately clean up the wound with soap and lots of water for 15 minutes, and sterlize it with Betadine or alcohol before hospitalization. Please also follow the principle “Two No, One Yes” to decrease occurrence risk of rabies: “Do not abandon pets”, “Do not touch the wildlife” and “Regularly seek rabies vaccination”, which can simply and effectively end touching pets at home and pathogens and minimize disease hazard.
