Those new immigrants who are promoted to employment up to one month, Via Employment Service Centers of Taipei City may apply for economic subsidies after relative assessment.
The Department of Labor has permitted new immigrants holding Alien Residence Certificates or having the legal right to work in Taiwan to seek job opportunities through the recommendation of various stations of the Taipei City Employment Services Office And, if a new immigrant's Monthly Insurance Salary level is below the standard level promulgated by the Taipei City Employment Services Office for that year, the new immigrant can receive NT$5,000 subsidy every month for a maximum of 6 months, as long as the new immigrant is consistently employed for more than a month.
