The National Immigration Agency 1990 Consultation Hotline for Foreign Nationals Living in Taiwan Now Available!

Starting today to June 30, the consultation service for foreign nationals living in Taiwan can be reached via 1990 and the original hotline number 0800-024-111. Starting on July 1, the service will merge into the 1990 hotline. If you’re a foreign national or a new immigrant living in Taiwan, feel free to call us for help. 
 
1. Service: The telephone consultation service provides foreign nationals and new immigrants help on issues relating to living in Taiwan, including visas, residency, work, education, taxes, health insurance, transportation, employment, medical care, personal safety, parenting, welfare, and legal resources. The service is available in Chinese, English, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, and Khmer.
 
2. Service hours:
(1). Chinese, English, and Japanese: Available 24/7.  
(2). Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, and Khmer: From 9:00 to 17:00 every Monday to Friday (not including national holidays and weekends). 
 
3. The telephone consultation service is provided with the help of linguistic interpreters. The service is available in Chinese, English, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, and Khmer.
