If new immigrants or migrant workers experience stalking and sexual harassment during their time working in Taiwan, the police will process the case using the same procedure as for Taiwan citizens. In cases where there is a language barrier, interpreters will be notified to facilitate communication. Additionally, the National Police Agency will also provide safety reminder leaflets to the reporting person and written warnings to the perpetrator in the eight most common foreign languages used in Taiwan.
