What is the 1955 Foreign Migrant Worker 24-Hour Hotline?

1. In order to protect the rights and interests of employers and migrant workers, and to enhance service efficiency, multiple service hotlines have been integrated into one. The Ministry of Labor established the 1955 Foreign Migrant Worker 24-Hour Hotline on July 1, 2009. This hotline can be dialed by migrant workers, employers, and the general public.

2. Features: A nationwide 24-hour one-stop hotline that is available 365 days a year in Chinese, English, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and is toll-free.

3. Services:

(1) Legal consultation and legal assistance on issues related to labor contracts, wages, working hours, occupational accidents, and legal help.

(2) Handle complaints regarding labor disputes, mistreatment, or physical assault.

(4) Provides protection and placement services for individuals who have experienced physical assault, human trafficking, or are referred by their employer.

(5) Provides information on services offered by other relevant departments.
