What should new immigrants do if they encounter domestic violence in Taiwan?

If new immigrants in Taiwan encounter domestic violence, they can call 110 to report the case and request police assistance, or they can personally go to the police station to report the incident. The police will ensure the safety of the victim, file a domestic violence report, and request for a protection order if necessary. If the victim needs to return home to retrieve their belongings or needs placement service, the police will accompany the victim home or inform the Taipei City Center for Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
