If new immigrants experience issues such as emotional adjustment, parent-child discipline, marital relationships, interpersonal interactions, workplace adaptation, anxiety, or insomnia, or if they have feelings of depression or suicidal thoughts, they can seek assistance through psychological counseling. Counselors will use interview techniques and collaborate with interpreters who are familiar with their culture to conduct one-on-one or family discussions. These sessions aim to help individuals identify the causes of their problems, discuss feasible and optimal coping strategies, and enhance understanding and interaction within the family. Professional and comprehensive mental health services are provided to support new immigrants through their psychological challenges. These services are free of charge for new residents.
