Guideline for Borrowing Managementn of “Taipei City New Immigrants’ Hall”

Location: Located at 1F., 3F., and 4F., No.171, Sec. 2, Changsha St., Wanhua Dist., Taipei City. Available floor area 848.2 square meter (including arcades).
Purpose: Events that associated with new immigrant’s learning program, training program, conferences, meetings, exhibitions and activities,etc. If applicants have one of the following circumstances, they are not allowed to use the hall.
(1) The purpose of using the hall does not match the purpose specified in the preceding paragraph.
(2) The activities are for profit purpose.
(3) The activities that could endanger the safety of the general public or harm the rights of others.
(4) The activities that violate the law or public order and morals.
Period: Tuesday to Sunday (Monday, national holidays and due to natural disaster, accidents or unexpected events, the government calls off work, or for administrative authority’s own use, maintenance and other circumstances, the hall will not open) From 9am to 5pm, the application is accepted. The using period is divided into morning and afternoon sessions as follows:
(1) Morning: 9:00 to 12:00
(2) Afternoon: 13:30 to 4:30
Applicants and using priority (1) Government-owned administrative authorities(institutions),schools
(2) Other institutions (institutions, schools, organizations, companies and individuals. In the preceding 2 to 3, if there are more than 2 applicants in the same order, the applicants that applied first can have the priority to use the hall.
Others: ●To use the space, a reservation must be made with the managing authority within 2 months to 7 days prior to the date of using the space. If no other reservation is made within 7 days prior to the date of using the space, a reservation can also be made. Accepting reservations from Tuesday to Sunday between 9:00 to 17:00 (not accepting reservations on Mondays, holidays, when government announces a suspension of work, or when the competent authority undergoes repairs) .
●Maximum 30 days per reservation If continual use of the facility is required, an extension must be made 7 days prior to expiration. Usage for more than 30 days must have permission from the competent authority.
●Applicants who receive the permission to use the facility but cannot use the facility as scheduled must submit a written notification to cancel the reservation at least 5 days prior to the reserved date ,except the reasons cannot attribute to the applicant and cannot transfer the reservation to a third party.
