The New Immigrant Leathercraft Exhibition is organized for new immigrants to showcase their creations from the leather crafting classes. Students started from the basics, including basic leather knowledge and maintenance, and gradually moved to hands on leather crafting skills such as leather cutting, edge finishing, tram lines, and stitching.
Students used the skills they learned in the class and participated in a Wenchang Dijun celebration event by making and donating leather pencil cases for event souvenirs. Every creation in the exhibition are practical work of art, and they are the expression of each student’s aesthetic sense and creativity. All of the creations are one of kind and precious.
