CECC now provides COVID-19 vaccine to foreign nationals without Resident Certificates(C/11-3)

COVID-19 vaccines are now available to foreign nationals without an ARC (including foreign nationals, PRC, Hong Kong, and Macao passport holders). Foreign nationals can enter their UI No. on the COVID-19 Vaccination Registration and Reservation Platform and provide the Exit & Entry Permit or the passport number to register for vaccination appointment. The National Immigration Agency (NIA) states, if foreign nationals have the need for COVID-19 vaccination, they can apply for a UI No. from the NIA.

The NIA further states that foreign nationals that have stayed in Taiwan for prolong periods of time, and have a UI No. marked on the remarks field on the Exit & Entry Permit do not have to apply for a new number. Foreign nationals that don’t have the UI No. can fill out the online application or apply over the counter.
