In response to the central government’s COVID-19 prevention measures, starting on Aug. 6 every person entering Taipei City Hall buildings are required to wear a face mask.(8-1)

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has announced on Aug. 5 that anyone going to the eight main public areas are required to wear a mask. To strengthen the protection of Taipei City Hall workers and the general public entering the city hall, all persons entering the city hall are required to wear a facemask. Those without a face mask will be denied entry.
 
   
Taipei City Secretariat stated, as imported confirmed COVID-19 cases increased in recent days, and the CECC has announced on Aug. 5 that anyone entering medical facilities, public transit, markets, educational institutions, live performance venues, entertainment venues, and large events is required to wear a face mask. To protect the health of Taipei City Hall workers and the general public entering the city hall, starting Aug. 6, all persons entering the city hall are required to wear a facemask. Those without a face mask will be denied entry. We ask all city residents to cooperate and protect yourself.
 

Starting on Aug. 6, Taipei City Hall has reactivated the requirement for all persons entering Taipei City Hall to wear a mask as a pandemic prevention measure. Taipei City Secretariat asks everyone that enters Taipei City Hall to comply to the pandemic prevention measures and wear a mask when entering the eight main public areas, and make sure to wash your hands to safeguard personal health.
