From September 12th, resumption of visa free entry for visitors from the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Europe, and diplomatic allies. (C/9-1)

On September 5th, The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) stated that 
from September 12th, Taiwan will resume visa free entry for visitors from United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Europe and country with diplomatic relations due to the balance of international engagement, epidemic prevention, social economic activities.

CECC mentioned this policy was made on the trend of most countries have 
already reopened their borders and resumed pre-pandemic border measures. In 
order to balance epidemic prevention, social economic activities and internationalengagement, after a comprehensive evaluation of the current situation, they 
announced from September 12th, under control on number of arrivals and the control of the epidemic, the visa-free access to Taiwan from the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Europe and countries with diplomatic relations willbe available.

Also, CECC would like to remind the public that above border control and epidemic prevention measures will be adjusted according to the situation. Moreover, 
all travelers must follow 3+4 quarantine policy (three days of quarantine+ 4 daysself-management), working together to protect domestic Community Safety.
