Birth Registration
*Application Procedures:
1. Born domestically: Apply at local household registration office by the father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, householder, cohabitant or nurser.
2. Born abroad:
Householder or legal representative takes the residence permit(apply at National Immigration Agency according to Entry/Exit and Immigration Law )to apply for initial household registration at local household registration office.
3. Cannot apply in person: You can authorize a commission. (If a commission is authorized abroad, it must be verified by the overseas embassies or missions.)

*Required documents:
1. Born domestically: Certificate of household registration, applicant’s national ID, seal, birth certificate and child’s surname agreement letter.
2. Born abroad: Apply for initial household registration with the certificate of household registration and ID, seal, residence permit of householder or legal representative.
3. Cannot apply in person: You can authorize a commission. (If a commission is authorized abroad, it must be verified by the overseas embassies or missions.)
